• Keep your car clean. A clean car means less prone to rusting.

• Wax the body of your car, it can help water easily drip on the body of the car.
• Fix chips and nicks in your paint to prevent the chance of rusting.

• When washing, remove mud and other debris from your wheels and wheel wells.
• Make sure the drain holes in your car don't have any clogged. This is a major cause of rusted doors.

• After you wash your auto, open the doors to let the water drain out.
• During wintertime, keep your carpets dry. Moisture causes rust and if your carpet is wet your floor panels will rust.
